To commemorate the significance of 9600 HP and its restoration, CMC have commissioned a Limited Edition print of the car in its unrestored state. The print has been signed by Philip Porter who owns the car. He is recognised as one of the world's leading Jaguar historians. It has also been signed by Louise Southan the artist.
Louise is a young and rising talent in the field of English water colour painting. Her attention to detail is superb and she has captured the atmosphere of the sleepy Jaguar perfectly. This print just like the car will become a collectors piece. Fascinatingly her husband Tim works for CMC and will be involved in the car's restoration.
Limited to 250 prints (size: 720mm x 520mm)

Coinciding with the restoration of 9600 HP, Philip Porter is writing three CD-ROMs on the E-Type. The first (which is available to order now) concentrates on the exciting story of the 3.8 litre E-Types. Using rare photos, archive video and interviews conducted by Porter during 15 years writing Jaguar books, they are packed with information, highly readable and fully interactive.
After briefly embracing the history of Jaguar, the XK engine and the XK120, the CD gives the in-depth story of E-Type design and development. Porter believes in extensive quoting in his books - now you can hear it in the words of those involved. The story continues with the launch and reaction, production, early cars, racing and owners, the XK-E in the USA, and the 3.8 today, which includes
hard hitting practical advice about buying and restoring. The detailed story of 9600 HP is told and illustrated, including the Pathé News sequence with Stirling Moss. There are mini-documentaries that allow you to sit back and watch, plus music, period news and fashion, dramatic Top Gear footage, the story of the Italian Job E-Type, statistics and much, much more.
